Want to rock your costume with LEDs?

Learn the basics of electronics as it applies to creating eTextiles by adding programmable lighting to your costume! All experience levels for sewing and working with electronics are welcome!

On Monday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm, we will have a wearable LED workshop so you can add sparkle to your costume! Each student will receive a kit that includes 5 programmable sewable LEDs. The boards that we're using can take up to 20 LEDs and can be programmed by holding them up to the computer screen!

The available colors for the kits are: diamond, emerald, amethyst, rose quartz, citrine, fire opal and sapphire.

Additional LEDs are available for $14.95 for a 5 pack if you send me an email when you sign up (lee at droplabs dot net). I can pre-order them and we can settle up on the day of the class. Even if you aren't ordering extra LEDs, please email me the color of the kit you would like!

$30 for the workshop, with a materials fee of $25.

Class is limited to 15. Because we need to order materials signups will close one week before the class.

Signups are on Meetup.com: http://ex.tl/LEDS .

Please feel free to bring your own scissors and needle nosed pliers!

Looking forward to seeing all of you!
